What you can do to help

There are more than 100,000 people across the nation who are waiting for life-saving organ transplants. Another name is added to the national waiting list every 9 minutes. You can help by working to increase awareness about the importance of organ donation.

Make a financial contribution

Our mission depends on the support and compassion of donors like you! Your generous gift–no matter the amount–has the power to change lives. Every gift helps raise awareness about organ and tissue donation and inspires more people to register as donors. Your contribution strengthens the future.

Support allows us to continue our work to promote organ and tissue donation, educate the community about the importance of organ donation and support donor families and their loved ones. Consider a gift that can help change lives.

Other ways to get involved

Driver’s education

When you renew your license or ID Card, you can register to be an organ donor. For teen drivers in Wisconsin, driver’s education instructors are required to provide 30-minutes of organ donation education. This education provides teens with accurate facts about organ, tissue and eye donation so they can make an informed decision when they go to the DMV to get their permit or license.

Donate Life Month Resources

Any day is a good day to promote organ, tissue and eye donation, but there are special days and months with messages and materials that make it easier to get the word out. We’ve built a toolkit to help you in your work to save more lives. Please download and share these messages through your community, workplace, place of worship, clubs and organizations, neighborhoods, family and friends.
